How to Replace Cosco 2000 Plus Self Inking Stamps Replacement Plates

How to Replace Cosco 2000 Plus Self Inking Stamps Replacement Plates

Please follow these simple instructions to change your printing plate

1. With the words 2000 Plus facing you, hold down the lock buttons on both sides of the stamp and press top of stamp down. This will lock your stamp in a down position. To avoid inky fingers, you may wish to wipe off excess ink from the old printing die plate.

2. Hold the stamp in your hand with the words 2000 Plus facing you. Turn the stamp upside down so the words 2000 Plus are now upside down and facing away from you. Carefully and slowly peel off the old printing die. Hold the new printing die plate so the words are readable. Flip the printing plate over (bottom line on top) centering the die plate and apply to the stamp pressing down firmly onto the adhesive. You may need to add a new piece of double sided tape if the old adhesive tape is not usable anymore.

3. Press stamp down to unlock.

4. Your stamp is now ready for use. After testing a few times, you can stamp the ID card, or a new small sheet of paper, and place it under the top window for stamp recognition.

Orthodontist Patient Rewards Programs

Attention Orthodontists!

As an orthodontist, you know that there is nothing more important than getting your patients to follow the treatment plan. The good news is promotional tokens can assist you with a patient rewards program that will achieve greater levels of compliance with your treatment plan.

Patient Rewards Programs

You may already have a patient rewards program in place or be thinking of implementing one for the first time. How do you use these tokens in a rewards program?

Easy!

Patients receive tokens at each visit and are rewarded for excellent compliance.

Examples of excellent compliance may be:

-Patient has no broken or loose appliances.

-Patient has been wearing rubber bands or headgear as instructed.

-Patient has clean teeth and healthy gums

-Patient arrives on time for appointment

-Patient excels in academics, sports or other community activities.

In addition, you can run other office promotions that allow the customer to earn tokens. Example: the winner of an office contest wins 100 smile tokens.

Some offices call their tokens "smile tokens". The smile tokens can be assigned various point values, like currency (red tokens are worth 5 points, yellow 10, green 15). Points can be redeemed for various prizes such as gift certificates, t-shirts with your logo, toys, movie tickets, ipods, smart phone apps, itunes gift cards, sports gear, etc.

It is no surprise to us when customers tell us the tokens themselves generate word of mouth referrals and more business! You will find over time that the return on your small investment for tokens is very high!

At PromoteSource, we are your source for wooden nickels and plastic tokens. Many orthodontic practices have come to us for several years for promotional tokens. But tokens are just one promotional product we offer. We can print your logo and slogan on just about any item you can think of. Some common promotional products for orthodontists are: custom printed tooth magnets, t-shirts, polo shirts, hats, pens, pencils, USB tooth drive, toothbrushes, tooth jar openers, note pads, note cubes, sticky notes, chip clips, calendars, coffee mugs, water bottles, reusable grocery bags. We are also experts in standard business printing for your practice, such as your billing envelopes.

How to Replace a Replacement Ink Pad on a Self Inking Stamp

How to Replace a Replacement Ink Pad on a Self Inking Stamp

First, press the stamp down slightly. In most cases, no more than a quarter of an inch is needed.

Squeeze the small buttons on the sides of the stamp cap while at the same time continuing to press it down. This will secure the stamp into this position. If your stamp does not have these side buttons, then just simply continue to hold the stamp down slightly. You are doing this so that the pad cartridge is unlocked and free to slide it out.

Finding the ink pad is easy. It is a horizontally shaped piece that is somewhere in the middle of the stamp. Simply push or pull this ink pad and it will slide out. Take it all the way out.

Next, insert the new pad in the same manner that the old pad came out. Once it is in place and is locked in place, you can let go of the stamp and it is ready for use.

Test the stamp a few times to make sure all excess ink is out. Your stamp should now be ready for use.

Below is a diagram to replace Trodat replacement ink pads and is also useful for many other brands of self inking stamps.

How to Re-ink the Ink Pad on a Self Inking Stamp

How to Re-ink the Ink Pad on a Self Inking Stamp

Adding ink to a self inking stamp is a fast and easy process.

Simply push this ink pad with your finger and it will slide out. Pull it all the way out.

Now that the ink pad is out of the stamp, take a look at the ink pad to make sure it is still usable or if you will need to purchase a new replacement ink pad. If the pad is hard or 'crusty', it is probably time to throw that pad away and purchase a new pad. If you decide to re-ink an old, hard pad, adding ink will be an ongoing process quite often and will not give a smooth and even imprint.

If you wish to purchase a new replacement ink pad for your stamp, please visit us at AddressStamp.com

However, if you have determined that your ink pad is ok to re-ink, then simply squeeze a few drops on to the ink pad to re-ink the pad. You can decide how many drops of ink are needed depending on the condition and dryness of the pad, but typically 4 to 7 drops of ink are sufficient. The size of the ink pad will also determine how many drops of ink you will need to use.

The following image depicts an Ideal 100 Self Inking Stamp being re-inked. The newer Ideal self inking stamps do not need to have the ink pad completely removed to be re-inked. Simply squeeze the ink into the holes shown to re-ink most Ideal brand of self inkers.

Next, insert the newly inked pad in the same manner that the pad came out. Once it is in place and is locked in place, you can let go of the stamp and it is ready for use.

Test the stamp a few times to make sure all excess ink is out and the ink has covered all areas of the pad.

Your stamp should now be ready for use.

Ink for all self inking stamps can be ordered easily at AddressStamp.com for low prices.
